Holden Sheet
Metal - About HSM
Holden Sheet Metal
started in 2007. John previously owned Holden Auto Body in
Placerville from 1997 to 2001. He has over 20 of experience in
collision, classic car restoration and custom paint. John grew
up in the San Jose area but has settled on the
Placerville/Foothill Area where his current shop is located. The
car collectors he has worked with entrust their prized
possessions to him to work magic. He moved his operations to his
home shop to focus on a 1 year full restoration project of the
yellow 1949 Chevy P/u. This was a full time commitment and
consumed all his attention with the constant guidance of the
owner. This was a one-on-one project. Since the completion of
the '49 in February 2009 this truck has gone on to win several
awards at local car shows.
This is not a production shop, this is a shop that
specializes in the body and paint portion of the restoration.
The customer will get the dream car they want whether it be a
unique color, ghost flames (one of Johns artistic specialty's)
or a bright metallic custom color. The customer comes first with
patience and input along the way.
